Chesapeake’s first triathlon is located on the banks of the Northwest River in the city’s most expansive park. Experience a swim in the quiet river surrounded by a natural preserve and protected forest. Bike through the park, out onto country roads, back into the park. The 5k run provides multi-surface terrain from asphalt to off-road technical and hardpack.

The race event is held in Chesapeake’s Northwest River Park.
The swim is in the brackish Northwest River. The bike starts and ends in the park, with 10 miles out on adjacent country roads. The run is held inside the park on mixed terrain of asphalt, technical off-road and hard pack trail.

Early Parking will be in the park’s P1-P3 parking areas. Full and/or late parking will be in the Equestrian Area.
